Nai Turner

Nai Turner is a multidisciplinary artist, muralist, and nonprofit founder based in Baltimore, Maryland. A U.S. Army veteran, Turner began painting in 2016 as a therapeutic outlet to navigate PTSD and personal loss. Her art, deeply rooted in themes of identity, resilience, and spiritual evolution, blends elements of realism, surrealism, and urban expression. Whether painting on denim, canvas, or concrete walls, Turner brings vibrant storytelling to life through powerful portraits and layered symbolism.

She is the founder of Live or Exist Foundation Inc., a nonprofit that provides essential resources to families facing crisis, including food, housing support, and creative healing programs. Her mission-driven work extends beyond galleries and into the heart of the community. Feeding, painting, and advocating for those often overlooked.

Turner’s exhibitions include the Harlem Fine Arts Show (NYC), the Afrofuturism showcase in Harlem, and a solo show series titled Watch It Grow. Her public art installations span from Norfolk, VA to Lafayette, LA, often reflecting the voices and stories of the communities they serve. In 2025, she presents Turning Pages, her solo show exploring the question, “If you could name this chapter of your life, what would you name it?”, a collection of visual responses to transformation, grief, and growth.
